The tour offers a complete experience, covering all the necessary elements for an exciting adventure. It all begins with a comfortable trip in tourist transport to kilometer 82 of the railroad that connects Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes. From there, you will begin three days of fascinating treks accompanied by three nights of camping.
On the first day, you will explore 14 km of breathtaking terrain. On the second day, the trek covers 16 km, while on the third day, you will hike 10 km. Each day will be accompanied by the provision of meals and the comfort of the camp. Finally, on the last day, you will reach Machu Picchu through the Intipunku, just as the ancient Incas did. For the return to Cusco, the trip will be made by train, thus completing this unforgettable experience.

Day 1- INKA TRAIL – WAYLLABAMBA
Our exciting 4-day journey to Machu Picchu begins promptly at 5:30 am, at which time we will pick you up and start this fascinating tour.
The initial journey will take place by bus, during which we will enjoy a sequence of stops at viewpoints and places of interest that will allow us to appreciate and make the most of the amazing urban landscape. These stops will lead us to the Inca Trail checkpoint, located at kilometer 82.
A lunch break awaits us in Miskay, giving us the necessary energy to start the trek. During this stage, we will have the opportunity to explore the archaeological site of Patallacta before arriving at the peaceful Wayllabamba, where we will set up camp for the day.
Day 2 – WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSKA – PACAYMAYO
We will start early in the morning our hike in the direction of Pacaymayo, and then continue to Warmiwañuska, also known as “dead woman”. Here we will take a welcome break to rest and admire the impressive landscapes that surround us.
Afterwards, we will descend from Pacaymayo to enjoy a well-deserved lunch and recharge our batteries for what follows.
The night will welcome us in Pacaymayo, where we will set up our tents to camp and enjoy a unique experience under the stars.
Day 3 – PACAYMAYO – PUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYHUAYNA
The third day promises to be the highlight of this exciting trek to Machu Picchu.
We will start by descending to the Runcurakay pass, located at 3970 meters above sea level, and enjoy a revitalizing lunch at Sayacmarca.
Along the way, we will pass through tunnels formed by solid rocks, adding a dose of adventure to our journey as we head towards the enigmatic city among the clouds, known as “Puyupatamarca”. Despite the characteristic fog of this place, its charm is undeniable. Continuing our tour, we will descend to Wiñayhuayna, at 2700 meters above sea level.
At night we will meet in Wiñayhuayna, where we will set up our tents to spend a magical night under the stars.
Day 4 – WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
At dawn, we will begin our journey to Machu Picchu. We will start our hike towards Intipunku, also known as the “Sun Gate”, where we will witness the spectacular sunrise. This magical place offers an amazing view of Machu Picchu in all its majesty.
Once at Machu Picchu, we will be guided on a detailed tour of the entire citadel, unraveling its mysteries and immersing ourselves in its fascinating history.
At the end of this unforgettable adventure, we will return to Ollantaytambo station, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco, providing comfort and tranquility after a day full of wonder and exploration.
