These terms govern your use of the Inca Trail Specialist website and any travel service requested through it. Inca Trail Specialist is a specialist travel brand operated by the Happy Gringo Tours team in Cusco, Peru.

By using the website or confirming a reservation, you agree to these terms together with the itinerary, quotation, payment schedule and booking conditions provided for the selected service.

An enquiry, wishlist selection or availability request is not a confirmed reservation. A booking is confirmed only after we accept the request, receive any required traveler details and payment, and provide written confirmation.

Availability may change before confirmation, particularly for regulated Inca Trail permits, Machu Picchu tickets, trains and accommodation.

Official Inca Trail permits and certain entrance tickets are personal, limited and issued using the traveler information provided at booking. Names, passport numbers, nationality and dates of birth must be accurate and must match the document used during travel.

Permits and tickets may be non-transferable, non-refundable or impossible to modify after issue. Any replacement required because of incorrect traveler information may involve new charges and remains subject to availability.

Prices are shown in United States dollars unless stated otherwise. The applicable quotation will identify inclusions, exclusions, deposit, payment deadlines and any card or platform charges.

A price displayed on the website does not reserve space. We may correct obvious publication or calculation errors before accepting a booking.

The specific cancellation and change conditions supplied with your quotation or booking confirmation form part of your agreement and take priority for that service.

Amounts already used to purchase permits, entrance tickets, train tickets or other non-refundable services may not be recoverable. Date changes are subject to deadlines, supplier rules, price differences and new availability.

Travelers are responsible for providing accurate information, carrying valid passports and any required visas, following guide and authority instructions, arriving at agreed meeting points, assessing their fitness for the itinerary and obtaining suitable travel insurance.

You must tell us before departure about relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or accessibility needs so we can evaluate reasonable arrangements. Disclosure does not replace professional medical advice.

Mountain travel can be affected by weather, trail conditions, strikes, transport disruptions, government decisions, closures and other events outside our reasonable control. For safety or operational reasons, we may adjust timing, transport, accommodation, route details or the order of visits while seeking to preserve the essential experience.

Some elements of a trip are delivered by independent transport, accommodation, ticketing, payment or other service providers. Their operating rules may apply in addition to these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by the traveler, an unrelated third party or circumstances that could not reasonably be controlled or avoided.

Tour descriptions, maps, photographs, branding and editorial content are provided for planning purposes and may be updated. Unless otherwise stated, website content may not be copied, republished or commercially reused without written permission.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, security or content.

These terms are governed by the laws of Peru. We encourage travelers to contact us first so any concern can be reviewed promptly and in good faith.
